Finally, date set!

I have spent every day since I first went to my primary care doctor almost 3 weeks ago worrying about my surgery.

First it was, will the obgyn I wanted to do it agree to do it, then when the answer to that was answered I had to wait to find out if our crappy insurance would cover it.

Thankfully, I got an answer about half an hour ago. Yes, insurance approved the surgery. So now I have a date set and my pre-op set.

OMG, I could just cry. I finally have an end to the horrible pain/periods in site!

On the ironic side though, I started my period today (a few days early). Almost like Aunt Flow knows she's about to be outta here and wanted to get a few more kicks in!

LOL! I think that I scared my Aunt Flow away...as soon as I had my date, I haven't had her visit since!
I'm so happy for you that everything has worked out and that you have a date set.

Finally, date set!

my "Aunt Flow" must also know that it almost time too...lol. When my bleeding stopped, i was shocked! I went out and bought a pregnancy test just to make sure i wasn't pregnant! I am just glad that all of this will be over soon! Medical leave starts tomorrow pre-op on the 17th and finally my surgery on the 18th.i'm pretty calm right now, but i don't know how much longer it will last. I just can't handle all the pain in my lower back, plus the constant pressure in my bladder area. It literally brings me to my knees at times......

Yay, celticmoonwolf!!!! What a huge, huge relief it is to have the insurance approval. Until that point, everything feels like it's in limbo. Now that it feels more real, you'll probably have even more questions--so please post them when they come up. I also waited two months after my surgery was scheduled to actually have the surgery.

You're now officially a princess-in-waiting

Finally, date set!

I just got my insurance approval letter today. I agree it seemed like it is in limbo.....until now. Now I'm really freaked out. I also have a visit from Aunt Flow today (which I'm not suppose to be having because I'm on Megace to stop my periods). Aunt Flow is furious too At least this is the last time I will have to deal with my severe pain in my sides and back

Finally, date set!

It took about a week for my insurance to approve and I know I was online checking everyday waiting to see if it was approved. When I finally got the approval Aunt Flow came that day.

Lucky for me Aunt Flow was suppose to visit again on the day of my surgery and decided it wouldn't be a good idea.
