Surgery cancelled!

Just an FYI:

my dear called at 10:00 pm last night to tell me that his flight had been cancelled and he would not be able to do the surgery.

Rescheduled for Thursday 3/6/03 at 2:30 in the afternoon.

How disappointing! But at least he called before you arrived at the hospital. I hope you hadn't spent a day doing bowel prep! You can just relive Monday on Wednesday -- like you're in the movie "Ground Hog's Day."

What can you do though?
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I too hope you did not have to do bowel prep. It's bad enough once. Spend the extra time waiting by pampering yourself. Now you have time for a manicure or pedicure if you didn't before. Maybe catch a movie tomorrow or shop for an extra pair of cute jammies.

Oh darn! But fortunately it's not a month away only two days away. We will just wish you "best wishes" all over again. And say a prayer that his flight hasn't been cancelled again.
