Bloating question

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a decrease in their bloating from having a TAH??? I'm severely bloated all the time, doctor says it's from endo and BCP's. This in itself would be a great thing!!! I went from a size 6 jean to almost an 8 just from the bloating that I have all the time!! I almost look like I'm four months pregnant!!!!!

Well you are not alone in the world of bloat...lol. I am almost 4 weeks post op and I have increased 2 sizes.. i at times look 5 to 6 months preg. If I am on my feet to long of overdue it then it is worse.. It is uncomfortable and have had to buy new clothes cause anything on my stomach is uncomfortable.. I also have alot of gas and am trying to keep from being constipated.. I will be so glad when I can wear regular clothes again.. I wish you the best and have been told this to shall past.. just wish I had a crystal ball to find out when.. Take care and be well

I haven't mentioned this before, because I wasn't sure if I was just imagining it... But I had a TAH nearly five weeks ago, and even with the stitches and the bit of swelly belly that I get in the evenings, my tummy is MUCH flatter than it was!

I had endo (didn't know it until my surgery), and looking back I think I've been battling the bloat for years now - it used to come and go, and seemed to be worse around my period and just after. But (I hope I don't speak too soon...) it seems to be gone.
