Very BAD Low Ab, Pelvic Pain

Had Davinci LSO (cervix remained) Monday morning, 4/12. Walked down hospital hall that evening... overall 2 hour op went well.
Got in & out of bed ALOT on Tues & Wed. Felt fine, i thought.
Thursday, had gas pains (Gas-x pills helped) AND found i had a hematoma on right libia about the size of a golf ball. Went to doctor on Friday morning, and he said it should heal on its own, though he was very suprised to see it form where it did. After leaving Dr, i did go to Walmart to pick up a couple of meals but did not do the lifting, just the walking and pushed the buggy. All n all i took 1 percocet each nite to help me sleep on Wed, Thurs, and Fri (+ 600mg Ibuprofen). Used heating pad on the hematoma and ate anti-inflammatory foods.
Saturday, hematoma shrank some BUT woke up with EXTREME pain in low ab. i had crazy bad nightmares (from pain meds?) night before and woke up with my body fully stretched out and mid section muscles in full flex. Did i damage or open somthing up?? Today, the pain is MUCH WORSE... especially when i sit in chair or in bed or lie on either my R or L side. Also worse when bladder is not empty. I cannot tell if i may have a bladder infection or spasms from the catheter, or UTI, or if it is coming from the portion of the uterus above the cervix that was left?
Today i have already taken percocet & Advil and will be taking more soon.
Anyone else have pain in this area? Did i not take enough pain medicine and now its catching up? This pelvic/low ab pain is far worse than i was going thru beforehand.
I do not hurt much at the incisions but i'm afraid & thinking i may have made a mistake in going thru with this surgery.

Re: Very BAD Low Ab, Pelvic Pain

Call your doctor. Let him decide if he needs to see you again. For me personaly, BAD pain meant something went wrong. Hope you feel better soon.

Re: Very BAD Low Ab, Pelvic Pain

I agree with Tinkle. You need to call your doctor to find out why you are in so much pain. Try calling tonight. Most doctors have an answering service that can reach them any time of the day or night. I hope you can get some relief from your pain tonight.
