Nothing stops my AF from coming

My surgery can't come soon enough. I am so tired of AF coming at all odd times. Due to severe anemia issues requiring IV iron infusions I am taking birth control pills. So stupid because I am infertile to begin with, age 46, tubes tied, etc. I take the pills that only allow you 4 periods a year. Ha, yeah right. I've got pills to take until the end of February yet I've been spotting for over a week. C'mon already. Once I stop the pills I will get a real AF and hopefully that will be it. That should put me ovulating at the time of my surgery. Ought to give my gyno a good look at my ovaries at their most active.

Anyway, been battling AF that was 21, 28 or 35 days. The pills were regulating the timing but the flow was still crazy heavy. Now they aren't even regulating the timing. Luckily my anemia is still okay.

28 more days to have this as my concern.

I hear ya! My doc put me on pills to stop my bleeding until my surgery (23rd) yeah right! I was excited cause I thought they would actually work, should have known better! It wont be long though and we will never have to buy pads again : )
