probably ok
hi designer,
Bleeding off and on throughout recovery can be normal. As the stitches are absorbed, dissolve, and pass bleeding can occur. From what I was told and have read, so long as not excessive (a pad in a hour) even clots and bright blood can be normal. If you're having a lot of pain AND bleeding you should get it checked. And of course, anytime your concerned call your Dr. to check with them.
My post-op instruction were pretty minimal too. Simply don't drive while on narcs, no lifting (but not for how long) and rest. I found out later she didn't want me driving for first 2 weeks (actually now extended- still not allowed 6 weeks out due to complications). Still also no lifting, etc.
There's a section on the website called Check-points (pink tab at top left of home pg). It's a great resource. Also an article on adhesions in the article section (links on left in pink/purple column). They give good pointers on what to do/not do and what to expect.
Welcome to the other side and good healing. LJC
