I am sorry to hear about your pain. Please tell your doctor about everything you feel. It could just be a natural part of your healing process but it will ease your mind to talk to your doctor anyway. I have had alot of problems over the last 15 months since my hysterectomy. Listen to your body and call your doctor

Has anybody felt this???

Hi.

I had very intense pain on my right side at 6 weeks. I was actually in so much pain that I was sure I'd need another surgery. Dr. saw me that same day and told me it was just stiches dissolving from one of the many layers of stiches. It went away that day and I have not had that happen since.

If it doesn't get better, or if it gets worse, I'd call my Dr. It's always better to have your mind put at ease, or if there is a problem, have it taken care of.

Best wishes,

Luvmabug

Has anybody felt this???

I had stinging pain on my right side under one of my 1/4-inch abdominal cuts. It came and went, but hasn't bothered me for the last couple of weeks. It's probably related to the nerves healing back together or adhesions or something. My doc said it was okay to gently massage the area. I found that it helped.

Has anybody felt this???

Hi,
I was talking with my (male) cousin tonight about my hyst. and he has had a hernia repair. When he asked about any pains or other discomfort, which I really haven't had much of, he said that after his hernia repair, he would have the sensation like a bee stinging him on his incision. Since the surgeries have some similarities, that may be what you are feeling too. He said that his dr. told him that it was a normal thing as he healed. But, you still may want to check with your dr.

Hope it will soon get better.

Donna
