Re: Post-Op Urethral Pain

I had my DVH the same day as you and it has been really tough. Thankfully I haven't had any UTI or fever, but every day is a challenge. I had one BM two days ago and nothing since then even tho I have been taking laxatives. The gas pains are terrible! My husband has been wonderful but no-one can begin to understand what I am going through except the women on this site. It has been a blessing. I know I am making progress but it's so slow! I really thought I would be further along by now. Hang in there - We are in this together.

Re: Post-Op Urethral Pain

Hi Sisters,
My heart goes out to all of you! I had severe bladder spasms that landed me in the ER after tests, a CAT scan and 3 shots of deloded. I have a nasty UTI that is the culprit. they put me back on pain meds (Percocet) and Levoquin (Antibiotic) I feel so much better now, it did take 4 or 5 days to realy fell like I might live through this. So keep your chin up ladies there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You will feel better I promise!
Hugs and great thought comming to you all!....Letta
