why so tired?/

Just wondering why I get so tired to quickly...I am recovering just fine from December 29th LAVH with removal of left ovary, but what is the actual reason we all get so tired so quickly?? I guess I am looking for the "medical " tired reason? Any insight?

why so tired?/

Hi, I was told that we are so tired because our body is using all its energy to heal. I had my surgery the same day as you did and i also am tired all the time. I hope this helps, i was surprised at how tired i am, i feel overwhelmed alot, if I try to clean up something i get exausted just at the thought of it. Good luck to you and listen to your body and rest. Tonjha

why so tired?/

Quite simply because it's major surgery and your body is working hard to heal itself ... so take care and rest as much as possible!

Also remember that you've probably lost some blood during the surgery. The blood loss means you have less red blood cells to carry oxygen around to your body, and that makes you feel very, very tired! You'll get to feeling better day by day!
