Got my date Aug 2

Got the phone call this morning. So now I know when, where, and how. Fibroids are too big to do with lap so it's the big incission for me. Or as I phrased it to the nurse "I'll be gutted like a fish." She said I'd be in the castle 1 or 2 days. Had the option of getting it done a week earlier, but my family has plans for a Girls' weekend on 7/28. Most of my support group would be gone to that so decided to have a fling before surgery.

Well i think a girls thing is just what you might need right now I am also having the big cut due to fibroids (july 13th) Mine is laying on my bladder causing bladder issues. I was told i would be in the hospital for 3 days. I was wondering what kind of anesthesia you plan to use? I am leaning on an epidural with light anesthesia cause a few friends did it that way and had no pain the first several hours afterward.

I have an August 4th date. I have multiple fibroids inside and at least one on the outside that was 8cm after the MRI in Feb. I know it has grown since that time. Had to delay surgery due to work issues.
