Breakouts two weeks postop?!?

Hi sisters... I had my LSH on october 5 and a week ago I started breaking out with tiny red pimples with white heads that are easily popped on my face and chest. I kept both ovaries and don't know why I feel like a teen again.... Please help!!

I had my LSH on Sept 12th, 2012 and I too have bumps on my face, chest, and back. Last week I visted my gyn for a follow-up and she said it look like pimples. I tried explaining to the doctor that I didn't have the bumps before the surgery. Could the bumps be due to the surgery?

That's what I was thinking too!!! Hopefully a few weeks if cleansing all those fluids the pumped in me ad my face will once again be clear :-/

I've succumbed. to buying proactive since surgery. horrible. my face, chest and back have never been this bad!!! I feel nasty! I had a total with ovary removed. only had one ovary left. I'm 25! Oct 2nd so your not alone..hugs.

I'm 36 and feel like I'm going through puberty again!!!

Same here :-( I kept both ovaries. I've never suffered with spots but parts have had lots. I'm nearly 4 weeks post op SAH. I would have thought after 4 weeks it would have cleared up. That is one question I will be asking at my post op appt. x

I have acne along my hairline. I haven't had that for a long time. Welcome to the teenage years again. Now if only my breasts would bounce back up.

Hate to tell you, but I am over 3 months post op and still feel like a teenager. Started having issues with it when I tried a last ditch effort before the surgery with the Depo shot, but that was the end of May and the shot has got to have worn off by now. Now it is even worse. Would have a breakout every now and again right before my period, but now it doesn't seem to matter what week it is.

I think it's probably hormone related. Even tho you kept your ovaries, it can take some time before they 'wake up' after surgery. I have not had this but have heard of women who have. Talk to your doctor and maybe he can give you something that may help at least temporarily. Hope it gets better soon.
