Need help with TO DO list

(If i posted this in the wrong area just let me know and i will move it)

I know that I will need to clean the house and make my daily items reachable from the couch. I am meal planning and making sure I have enough snacks for my boys (5 and 16 months at the time of surgery) but I feel like I am forgetting something.

I am also planning on rearranging the boys room to make it more accessible for the boys. (ie, move my oldest"s bed next to crib so oldest can get youngest out if help isnt around since i wont be able to lift little one)

I am going to go grocery shopping the week before for snacks for myself. I plan on having all of my comfy clothes in our hall closet so i dont have to climb the stairs the first few days.

If im forgetting something please let me know.

Re: Need help with TO DO list

Sounds like a good list.

You can pack your hospital bad a few days before surgery.

I gave my husband a list of people to update during my surgery.

I had 2 snack tables set up by my bedside with things I would want/need when I first came home from the hospital.

Good luck and you'll be in recovery before you know it!!

Re: Need help with TO DO list

My absolute best buy was a litter picker/grabber in the US I think.

It saved having to bend down or reach up.
It also helped with the weight we can pick up. I was told not more than 10lbs at first.
If something fell out of the grabbers, I decided it was too heavy me me.

Ideal for putting things in and out of the washing machine, although your children might enjoy helping with that.

Re: Need help with TO DO list

My oldest loves helping with laundry. Hibby will havd to fold abd put away when he gets home from work. Lol

I do plan on borrowing my moms grabber. And my dr said that if it can't be lifted by the grabber than its too heavy.

Re: Need help with TO DO list

I bought loose pj bottoms and was very grateful- I had quite the swelly belly for a few days. I also STAYED in pjs just remind everyone around me that I'm taking it easy. I shower and change in to fresh pjs every morning. I also bought a large case of water so my fridge is stocked with ice cold water. It keeps me drinking the water too. I also planned alot of quick easy meals- stuff I could grab on my own if need be. It's worked out well, so far!
