Have I been doing to much?

I was feeling good. I had my surgery 2/19/13. Had little to no discharge. Then today I started to bleed?? I thought it should be opposite. Did I do too much? I am nervous. Anyone else experience this during this time in recovery?

Re: Have I been doing to much?

Hi KKaren, It is light right now. I have been wearing a panty liner because it has been not much until today. Bright red. I am laying in bed. Hoping being off my feel will stoop the flow. I am hoping that this is within normal limits.

Re: Have I been doing to much?

I have had bright red bleeding 2 times. The doctor had me get off my feet the rest of the day and told me not to lift anything heavier than a coffee cup. Lying down truly did help lessen the bleeding and that helped emotionally. It never hurts to call your doctor to let him/her know and get their advice. It could just be the stitches dissolving but if you are really worried, call your doctor.
