3 weeks post op...thrush!!!

Hi there hope you can help. I'm pretty sure I have vaginal thrush. I'm going to get hubby to get me diflucan tablet but will the thrush compromise my cervical cuff???? Thankyou

Before you send hubby out for the Diflucan, you should make absolutely sure that you do indeed have thrush. Early post-op, it's really hard to tell when you have a yeast infection or normal discharge or some other type of infection. If it is really bothering you, you should have your doc diagnose it. I had some really strange discharge that was just a normal part of the healing process, and I thought it could be a yeast infection, but my doc said it wasn't. Here is an article that may help explain: Yeast Infection Post-op?. I have not heard of a yeast infection compromising a cuff, but it's always best to ask your doc.
