1 month post op and I'm sick!

Hello! I was doing well, working a few hours here and there last week and this week.

But yesterday I started having a sore throat. I went to be last night at 8, fell asleep by 8:30, slept all night. Awoke briefly to get my kids to school and went back to sleep til noon. Then got up at 3 only to shower, and am on the couch.

Boo!!!

Has anyone been sick since surgery? Is my immune system still compromised from surgery?

Just curious what others have experienced. Thanks!

Re: 1 month post op and I'm sick!

Sorry you don't feel good. You may just have a viral infection or a common cold which is not related to the surgery. What I would do is to rest as much as possible, drink plenty of fluids, gargle with salt water for the sore throat or use Sucrets or Chloraseptic lozenges. If not feeling better in a day or two, please call your doctor. Wishing you speedy recovery.
