Life without fibroids 7 weeks later

I'm sitting at my desk at work realizing I haven't had to pee since I left my house almost 3 hours ago. This is a new experience for me!

I had LSH on Jan. 7th. She had to do a small incision right above my pubic bone because one of the grapefruit sized fireballs, um, I mean fibroids was so densely calcified she couldn't break it up via laparoscope instruments. My recovery has been pretty smooth but it's in the last week I really felt like myself again. My energy is better than it was when my entire pelvis was full of old dead fibroids 2 grapefruit sized and too many others to even count. I can actually empty my bladder, nothing is pressing on it and I'm comfortable. All that pain and pressure in my pelvis is gone. I was living with fibroids for so long and tried everything including UAE, acupuncture, herbs, etc.... avoided major surgery because I was so scared.

I'm so glad I did it. It was really the right decision. So glad those fibroids are gone.
