TAH Where does it go?

Crazy question! After sex, where does "it"(ejaculation) go? The vaginal cuff is sewed closed so nothing from the inside comes out or goes into the abdominal cavity. So does it just "fall out"? Don't know why this question keeps coming to my mind. My sister said she knew she was pregnant when she had sex and "it" just plopped out! Is it the same with hyst?

Ummm... I have had the same question rattling around in my brain! Seems like after a while it would get kind of yucky up in there. Sorry... :/

Your vagina is self cleaning like it was before your hysterectomy. There might be more of a discharge after sex than before, but this shouldn't be a lot different than before as not all of the ejaculate used to go into your uterus. This article can explain it a lot better than I.

For me I notice its a bit messier than before but overall it's much like it was.

Re: your sister--Pregnancy causes the development of what is called a "mucous plug" at the end of the vaginal canal. It's nature's way of trying to prevent any baddies from getting to the uterus while a fetus is growing. That's why she had the experience she did.

Hmmmmmmm, you're not crazy I forever wonder where will it go....I would hate to have to ask my husband to wear a condom.....oooooh boy..messy, messy, messy...

For me it all comes out now. No more panty liners or next day drip. It's all gone.

For me it's the same as before. It just comes out, usually not that long afterwards. I liked condoms. So much less messy for me. lol

But seriously, I didn't notice much difference. I had a fibroid on my cervix and everything was held pretty high and distorted due to the fibroids. Maybe thats why it didn't really change!
