LAVH 10 months post hysterectomy pain

10 months on and pain ?? Suddenly I have had 2 suspected UTI that cleared up with antibiotics but 2 weeks ago intercourse was incredibly uncomfortable and has put me off.. Last couple of days have had pelvic pain like I used to get with the pulling and scar tissue from my Endo with a bit of lower back pain. Then to top it off my vagina feels heavy and achy ... This is so unfair and seemed like everything was going well until now. Hot flashes had even subsided but have now returned, feel I have stepped back about 5 months.. Sigh. Any other sister had this ?? Big hug if you have and your advice welcomed !! X

How is your bladder? Are you having frequency or urgency? Pain when your bladder is full? Feel like you aren't emptying when you do go?

Not... That's all ok now bit recently had what my go thought was a uti.. No burning, just pressure at the end of urination. Antibiotics cleared that up but weirdly the urine samples didn't actually show clear uti findings !

Only reason I mention it is because I have interstitial cystitis. Google it. It is not a uti... No bacteria ispresent on a culture and antibiotics do nothing for it. My main symptoms with it are the pressure on my bladder and it also cause low back pain. It is controlled a ton with diet.

Do you know if all your endok was removed? If it wasn't completely removed it could be there causing you pain even after a hysterectomy. There are so many things in that generally region! I am sorry you are having pain again! I too have endo and adeno. Just had my hysterectomy and my Dr removed the endo, so I am hopeful to be pain free... Still having low back pain though
