Hydro nephrosis??

Ok I've been lurking and putting off the inevitable Hyster( TSH) I need. When they discovered my aliens ( fibroids ) Ultrasound report said mild left hydronephrosis. Everyone poo poo that as ok, no problem. My routine well check up revealed elevated liver enzymes, suddenly i'm sent for a abdominal ultrsound and to a liver specialist, also more blood checks for hepatitis ( I work in healthcare , and supposedly was exposed to hep B 6 years ago ) I had the antibiodies never took the shots.. Well to make this a shorter story...I no longer test positive ( reactive ) to hep B antibodies.. and liver enzymes are still elevated. So I did ultrasound... basically Normal what they could see , could not see pancreas cause of GAS!) EXCEPT for left renal hydroneprosis, dilation of someting ( tube) and overall left renal issues.
My humongous fibriods ( that I dream alot about not really having..) are pressing on the left kidney from inside the uterus..Oh how they have grown..
I asked the tech to check my uterus to see if she saw anything..I told her I knew about the fibroids) and without having drank a drop of water she quickly told me I have a huge fibriod left side of uterus ( interior) I said I knew that infact had others , but she wasn';t supposedly looking at pelvic area so she had to do her scan. I explained that I dream often they take out my uterus an dthen in recovery room come and tell me there was nothing in there... She assuered me there was somthing in there..So I'm bummed out, going to see liver specialist on January 13th and my GYN on Jan27th , she'll give me the date for surgery then. probably a month later. still waiting for all bloodwork to come back about acute hepatis , also could have a viral hep. OMG........................
I'm a basket case!!

Hydro nephrosis??

I'm not exactly sure what your question was, or if there was one. But, I thought I'd share the following with you.

My daughter, Alexis (age 8) had/has hydronephrosis. Usually, it's graded as "mild", "moderate", or "severe". At age 7 months, she was diagnosed with "severe" left and "mild" right. She had her left kidney removed three years later. I'm not quite sure why they had you lined up to see a liver specialist, as hydronephrosis is usually caused by vesicourteal reflux (from the bladder to the kidney). The reflux is graded on a scale of 1 to 5. Five being worst.

Have they scanned your bladder???

Hydro nephrosis??

you're not alone - I'm on a roller coaster ride of emotions - I have Lupus - which causes inflamation of various organs - doc suggests full hyster because of cramping and fibroids, a rectal hernia and sagging bladder need repairs at the same time....7 years ago had appendix removed (was enlarged) only to be told that pathology report was neg. I too fear that going through this proceedure will turn nothing up, but there truly is something in there, not to mention an enlarged spleen and liver.....with nothing showing up wrong with either. It's all enough to make anyone crazy....all I can do is pray and ask the Lord to guide me in the right direction! I will pray for you too! God Bless

Hydro nephrosis??

I am going to liver specialist because of eleveated liver enzyme tests during routine blood work , when repeated they were still elevated, indicative of hepatitis.
