2+ weeks post hysterectomy - incision pain

Hi Ladies,
I have been doing very well post op. I am walking a lot and drinking tons of water. I just started today experiencing incision pain. I have not had a lot of pain there it just started. Yesterday I had t take my truck in to be serviced, have been driving for a couple of days, short drives. I was gone most o f the day, is it possible because I was out and about that I am having incision pain? I am abit frustrated.

HELP

I have incision pain if I do too much or even if I sleep on my right side. As long as it is not red, itchy, or has a lot of discharge I think the pain is from doing too much. Of course I am no doctor so maybe calling them may help ease your concern.

Re: Post op (may 25) incision pain

You probably did too much yesterday. I would relax and rest for a couple days. I didn't drive till 5 weeks out and it caused some pain. So I tried again 2 weeks later and it was much better.

Thanks I called my surgeon this morning he said if I still have pain tomorrow to come in and see him. The nurse did tell me I shouldn't be driving. But I need to get out of house. I go crazy indoors. I haven't had pain til Tuesday. So frustrating. One step forwRd and two back. Thank you
