1 week post hysterectomy - bleeding and spotting after straining?

Ladies thanks for all of your help with my poo. It worked but now I am spotting and bleeding. It has only been a week since my surgery. Maybe I strained something and my lower left back hurts really bad. Thoughts?

I'm almost 3 weeks post op and I've been spotting all week. Nothing major just when I wipe, it is brownish tint. My doctor told me that was normal.

((Maggels)) you are very early in your recovery. During the initial recovery period (6-8 weeks) it is very normal to have spotting or bleeding. If you would have bright red blood and fill a pad within an hour, that is when you would need to go to the ER. Back pain is also very common . . . it usually comes from when you favor your abdominal muscles and hunch over. I found a heating pad to be very helpful. Hang in there . . . it will get better, honest.

on your continued recovery. Please let us know how you are. Remember we are here for you.
