Re: Cat scan and pee blood help

Is it possible that it is just the dye filtering through your body? Are you sure it is blood or is it more orange?
The other possibility is your bladder is still healing from being moved around during surgery and now is angry about the new chemical it has to process. (the dye)
I would say to push as many fluids as you can and keep an eye out for new pain and a rising fever. Also any new blood that either comes with clots or is heavier than it has been. You can always call the Dr, but if it can wait until Monday, then call them Monday morning and ask them for clarification.

I had a cath for 3 weeks post-op and almost fell over when I saw blood clots in the bag, so I feel your concern. This too shall pass.
