1 week post hysterectomy. More bleeding than before

Hey guys. I had a TVH. I've felt pretty good pain wise. Only spotted light pink up till today. I have been driving more than usual and not resting as much but that's it. Yes it's prolly overdoing it so my question is, can that make me bleed a little more than I was? At first it was pink only when wiping. Now it's red on my pad. Kinda scares me. It's not soaking a pad in an hour. Just spots of red. Plz help!

Overdoing things can cause bleeding, pain and swelling.

Put your feet up and rest. You only get one chance to recover from this surgery - don't make it harder/longer than it needs to be!

hi, over doing it can cause bleeding, pains & more symptoms & complications.. Id say you are over doing it. You are only a bit over a week post op & really shouldn't be driving until youre off pain meds, no longer having pain & cleared by your dr. You use a lot of muscles to drive, plus pains & being on meds cause a slow reaction time, which can be dangerous for you & others. Weve all been there busy w responsibilities but you need to rest & recover. Walking is good.

I also feel that you've been overdoing things. I was told not to drive for at least a couple of weeks. I didn't even attempt it until week three. In fact, my stomach area felt uncomfortable when turning to look backwards.

I didn't drive till after Week 5 - like you, I couldn't turn round to look behind me.
