fatigue
I am almost 4 weeks post. Age 58, had LAVH, kept ovaries. Was menopausal. So I a bit surprised with the fatigue. One day I am doing good, then next day running on half the power. And must have the hormones still going, up and down. Can get upset and emotional. I am a farm and country girl, so not being able to do some work is a little trying. Have adjusted, must let some stuff just go. The floors will get mopped in another 3 weeks. I have told God that I really did not like going through this, but I guess there is something that I must learn from this and grow in the way He has for me. Hard. gratefull

Re: fatigue
Hi Gratefull,
I too am a farm and country girl, we milk cows and I helped with the milkings every day and fed the calves. I am glad to hear that you were able to adjust, it gives me hope. I am also fatigued and wonder at that because I was so active before the surgery.
I am 42, had a abdominal hysterectomy , rectal wall repair, and they found and removed endometriosis. Ovaries are still there, but we have to keep an eye on things because of the
endometriosis. My emotions have been all over the place, but perhaps it is because of me not being able to let go of all the jobs inside the house and outside .
Not sure what God has intended for me , but again, interesting that you have touched on things that I have been thinking about.
I sounds like you are definitely on the right track and I thank you for sharing. It's nice to know someone else is feeling similar things.

Re: fatigue
Ladies don't forget you have had major surgery! You will be fit and well again in no time! Just listen to your body in these early stages so it can heal.
