SAH: Surgery Date moved up!

Super exciting news! My surgery was originally scheduled for March 21 - but it's been moved to next week!!! I've been in pain for 5 months - so this is absolutely awesome news!!!

But this means I only have a week to get ready! omg ...

Hope all goes well for you. I know when my date was months away it was harder to grasp. Now that mine is a week away, it seems like it came up too fast. Hopefully, you have the time to take to get food, meals and your room set up. Best wishes to you!!

That is great! I know waiting is hard especially once the date has been set. Good luck getting ready. A week feels fast, but can be done. I had my SAH 10 days after my appt. Remember to pamper the pricess in waiting. Start taking your immune boosters now. Have a great procedure, we'll see you on the other side!

The same thing had happened to me. I was originally scheduled for today (!), but had been bleeding severely for too long, so my doctor moved it up, giving me only 9 days notice. I was too weak and tired to do any preparations anyway, but it all worked out. I was fortunate to have my hubby home with me for the first two weeks, so he took care of everything that I couldn't do. I just had to pack my bag and I was ready to go! It will all work out for you. Best of luck with your surgery!

My TLH is next week also (1/20). I am attempting to prepare, but it is almost impossible with a 16 week old baby who demands my attention! I hope you can prepare and have a good recovery!
