Re: several questions about life after hysterctomy

I am 3.5 weeks post op. Not cleared yet but will check back after I am. I had adenomyosis and needed to have the bladder sling but couldn't get my Urologist specialist in time for my surgery. So I guess I won't be getting that because I am not going back under the knife for peeing on myself when sneezing. Sex was painful if my dh hit the cervix. We had to accommodate me a lot for that. Usually missionary style was our favorite position because although he penetrated pretty deep it somehow bypassed the cervix? It was usually if he went in from behind that it bumped the cervix and made me scream. I also had a ton of fibroids. At first we thought I only had a couple because that was all that showed on the ultrasound but the path report showed hundreds inside the wall of the uterus. I also had cysts on my ovaries and experienced all kinds of pain every month to go along with the extreme bleeding that could literally make a room look like someone was murdered in it. When I recover enough to get past this pain I will update on everything. So far I do not regret having it done and would do it again even though it is painful. But no pain no gain and I am glad to be rid of those problems.
