TAH 14 days post hysterectomy: Smelly brownish discharge

It's been 14 days since my surgery. (Off the narc's so my mind is clear). I've been getting this brownish bloody discharge and it smells. No matter how much I bathe down there, the smell keeps coming back everytime I have this discharge. Is this normal? If so how long will it last? I can smell it through my clothes! It's embarassing!

Yes, I had the same brownish smelly discharge for about 4 weeks after surgery yet I got the fresh scent thin pads, change the pad very often, and also got Summer's Eve powder and put on the pad and also on my body yet it will stop in due time but it does smell horrible and definitely continue to wash the area with Dial Anti-bacteria (yellow color) It Will GoAway Soon.

I've been doing everything else you've mentioned besides using the Summer's Eve powder (great product)! Also
glad to know that its temporary and not some type of infection.

I had the same thing so I know exactly what you are talking about. I don't remember exactly but I think it was from around weeks 3-4. It went away on its own .
