LSH: LSH with appendectomy

Seeing as this will be my FIFTH laprascopic procedure, I insisted that they remove my appendix as well. I said to my doctor that if it "blows" a few years down the road and I have to endure yet another abdominal lap procedure - I will be mad!!! She sai ok and the poisonous bay shrimp will come out!!! The appendix is a funny little organ - its sole funtion in life is to rupture and potentially do a person in!!! Who needs that????

I asked my doc to remove my appendix, he said, "NO." I didn't argue. So within a year I had to have it removed. I was not a happy camper. I couldn't play in some golf events I had been looking forward to and let my team down. I was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

Oh Pattypat I am so sorry to hear that! I can't believe how many friend questioned my insistence on removing "a perfectly healthy organ." They can't understand I guess until they walk in our shoes!
