Hi Mustang1
How did it go with the Dr today? I hope all is well.
I really like your screen name.

Well, my urine test came back negative, no blood! The nurse told me to just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse they want me to go see my family Dr. I was a little frustrated with this answer as I am in a lot of pain still. They think that I may have a pulled muscle. I don't think so, this feels nothing like a pulled muscle! So, I'm not exactly sure what to do at this point...I'm hurting!

Back pain....Kidney area

I had a really strange pain in my back/side about a week or so after surgery. Mine turned out to be shingles.
I hope they find out what is causing you so much pain. I know I was really miserable, and not knowing what it was really upset me.
Maybe you shouldn't wait to call your Family Dr. You shouldn't have to be in pain wondering what is wrong.

Back pain....Kidney area

If I had know that information about the seriousness of the stones, I would have gone charging through the emergency dept. like a deranged water buffalo! Here in Canada our emergency departments are 'chronically' slow. I waited for 51/2 hours the first visit just to be diagnosed and sent home with pain meds and an appt. with urologist. Later that day when I had to go back, it was another 4 hours before the morphine started to flow. Thanks for the great info.

Renee - glad to hear you have someone 'in the business' and can get to an answer a little faster. Wishing you well.
