4 weeks still heavy bleeding

I had the davinci procedure Dec 6th , and everything went well. Did not get many instructions from my Dr at discharge. Went through the gas pains, no bleeding, scars healing pretty good.
After 2 weeks started spotting and it continues on and off. Somedays 4-6 pads. In constant communication with the Dr, he saw me once before going on holidays vacation and saw the cervical stitching not completely healed. He still calls and asks how much bleeding there is and if I'm feeling weak.
Not really week, but Definitely not myself, with pain and continuos bleeding. Blood clots come out, I'm getting worried that I can have a hemorrhage and also worried that I can be accumulating blood in the insides too.
Any comments? Is this ok?

Re: 4 weeks still heavy bleeding

Very sorry to read you are going through this.
If you are going through a pad more than once an hour I'd head to the emergency room.
Please take good care of yourself!

Re: 4 weeks still heavy bleeding

I had surgery 11/29. Spotting since day one. Last week on Thursday staring bleeding a little more. Called the covering doctor and he said if fill a pad an hour to go to ER. Friday night between 8p and 11p that happened. I went to the ER and was just released yesterday (Sunday).
Friday night while in the ER I passed a huge blood clot and the bleeding slowed down a lot. Had a CT scan done, it showed clots in the pelvic area, which is normal per the vascular doctor. During my stay was just spotting. This morning was woken by a gush of blood and passed another clot. Put a call in again to my doctor's office waiting for new covering doctor to call me. My doctor is out of the country!
I have read in many places that this can be normal?? Clots left in the pelvic tend to come out around this time, they say. So waiting for a call right now for reassurance. My doctors secretary asked If they did an ultrasound and they did not. That might be the next step. Waiting for my call! Will post again later!!

I'm glad that you are in contact with your doctor. A trip to the ER might be a good idea. It would ease your mind.

Please keep us posted.

Sweetie you shouldn't be gushing blood and passing clots. If it takes your doctor's office too long to call you back please go to the ER, don't wait for them. Prayerfully they will get to the bottom of this soon. Please keep us posted
