Ovaries: Removed both

Music DURING surgery

Has anyone been allowed to bring their ipod or other music device with them into surgery to have their favorite music on during the surgery to keep them calm?

I'm going to bring mine and ask.. the worst they can say is no :-)

I'm just wondering if it's been done

I think I read here that someone was allowed, I was surprised by that. But like you say, it can't hurt to ask. If you get to talk to the anesthesiologist at a preop appt you could even ask then. Good luck.
