4 mos post op and still not completely healed

I had my surgery in mid August. I knew the risk for blood clots where high since I'm on blood thinner. I did get a clot a week after surgery. I do wish they would have told me i have a risk of taking longer to heal. Here it is four months out and my cuff still isn't healed completely. It is frustrating dealing with the pain. What if anything can i do to help the healing process along

Re: 4 mos post op and still not completely healed

Just let yourself heal and don't compare yourself to anyone else. If you try to push it, you will only set yourself back. Make sure you are getting enough rest, eating right and staying hydrated. It is really easy to get dehydrated and not realize it. When I was healing, my doc told me to have water with me all the time and just keep sipping. I know it is frustrating to not be healed but it can take up to six months to heal. And having blood clots will show down your healing as well. Sending hugs.
