3 weeks post hysterectomy: Vaginal spotting after bowel movement?

Starting yesterday I have had light pink to brown vaginal spotting after having a bowel movement. I don't feel like I had to strain ( very careful not to), so I'm not sure what is going on?

I had some discharge a couple days ago unrelated to bowel movements. I figured it's the stitches starting to dissolve.

This spotting with bowel movements is a little concerning. It's not red at all, so I feel it's old blood. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm hesitant to call the doc, it's 2.5 hr drive to his office. I don't think I'm ready to make that drive again just quite yet.

Had pinkish spotting 8 days after surgery that lasted on and off for 3 weeks. My Dr said it is normal but to take it easy during this time. I did notice the more active I was the more spotting I got. I would call your Dr just to let them know what is going on with you. They might want to take a look and make sure all is okay. Good luck and please give yourself time to heal.

Thanks for your reply . For now it has stopped, I was in the process of doing laundry. I know I shouldn't but I'm being careful. Maybe it was too much?

My dryer decided to stop working so no more laundry today lol.
