Pain after intercourse 4 months post op

Hi ladies- just thought I'd ask, is anyone having pain after sex? I'm a little over 4 months post op and had a very quick & smooth recovery and feel mostly back to normal now except for some pain after intercourse.

Everything feels fine during (and we are still taking it easy & mellow, nothing too crazy- even keeping penetration pretty shallow since my husband is well endowed), but throughout the rest of the day or next day I feel tightness & pain inside my abdomen about where what feels kind of like where my uterus or maybe my cervix used to be.

Going to check with my doctor if this is normal or not but just thought I'd check in with the other post-op ladies and see if others of you are experiencing the same?

Yes, I had sex for the first time last week post op. It was semi-painful during the act (we did use lube), but it hurt a lot more after and the next day. Some spotting after. I had full hyster with left ovary and both tubes removed. LAVH.
