strange sensations

I had my TVH on the 7th (kept ovaries)- As hard as it is, I have been very good at laying low and not over-doing anything.

This week I have been having times where I can't sit comfortably at all. Sometimes it passes quickly, other times it is for hours. At times I even have the feeling as I am laying down.

The best way I can describe the feeling is this:
A tampon is in, it's WAY too full, and has started to come out.

It's a little creepy... especially since I haven't been able to use tampons for years due to the heavy bleeding and clots.

The other one I get in waves is that I am being cleaned out with one of those brush-thingies that are used for cleaning test-tubes. Thankfully this one comes and goes quickly-

All part of the healing process?
(my DH and sister think I am a little *too good* at coming up with descriptions of what it feels like)

Hi

So sorry to hear about your problems.

If I were you I'd go see the Doctor and tell him exactly what you're feeling (as in your descriptions)
Your Doctor will be able to find out exactly what's going on and things sorted for you.

Take care,
Loekie

Hello Tiffany,

I had SAH and rectocele repair and your description of the tampon sensation sounds familiar - I feel (from time to time) as if I'm prolapsing (again). I think it may just be normal sensations as the body is healing, and is still probably swollen.

Maybe, as Loekie suggested, you could check with your doctor?

Tiffany, I had that feeling for quite a while. It is most likely swelling. Mine went away between week 9-10. I was scared that things were falling down, but I've had three drs examine me and everything is in place and holding up well. The prickly feeling is probably nerve endings that are healing. I still get this once in a while. It takes a long time for everything to heal.
