dVH/RALH Weight Gain Immediately After Surgery???

I was excited to see the morning of surgery had dropped a few pounds -but after surgery while getting up to walk they weighed me and I was 8 pounds heavier-I wanted to cry. That weight stayed with me coming home th next day along with the biggest belly I had since I was 5 months pregnant, I have also eaten very light. I have struggled withbweightbas well and know how depressing this can be, but by 4 days post davinci I was back to pre surgery weight and now 6 days post I'm down a few pounds from there. I think now it has to do with more regula BMs and swelling going down. Our body holds in to a lot of fluid after the trauma of surgery-it freaked me out at first but now I'm thinking of it as my body renewing-recharging to life without my uterus and a fresh start! Hang in there!
