TVH-Expectations

I was 34 when I had my tvh. The pre-op consisted of blood work and a physical. My prep was nothing to eat, drink, or smoke after midnight the night before surgery. I didn't have to shave or give myself an enema. I think that this depends on your doctor's preferences. I was only in the hospital overnight. I was operated on first thing Friday morning and was home at 10pm on Saturday night. If you have any questions, your best thing to do would be to speak to your doctor. Best of luck to everyone.
My doctor also would not release me for 8 wks after surgery.
