Ewwww... discharge 8 weeks post op

I'm grateful that I am nearing week 8 of recovery!!! I'm working full time again and feeling great. No HRT due to severe endometriosis and some pre-cancer spots. I have had many hot flashes and night sweats, but it as been manageable. I did have some strange stuff in my pathology report, but after what seemed like a million tests and an eternity of terror, everything came back fine and all is well. However, I still have the yellow-ish discharge. Sorry if this is TMI, but its really bugging me. I have not bled since day 1 but I've had to wear a pad or pantiliner because of discharge. It's not horrible smelling, but I'm very self conscious of it. Hubby promises me he can't smell a thing. I had everything removed but my cervical cuff.

What the hell is this discharge??? And is it ever going to go away?

Mine "finally" went away at about 9 1/2 weeks. Like you, I wondered if it was going to go on forever!! It didn't, thank goodness.

Re: Ewwww... discharge 8 weeks post op

When I went back at 14 weeks postop for another check (my cuff wasn't completely healed at the 6 week check) she discovered granulation tissue on the cuff and treated it with silver nitrate- I had silver discharge for a day and then the old yellow discharge for another week! It's been gone for a week now, thank goodness. I don't dare throw out the panty liners yet though!
