Hi. I had a lavh 17 days ago now I feel like everything is going to fall out of my vagina. I still have my ovaries but feel so sad some days. Is this normal?

Vaginal pressure 17 days post hysterectomy (lavh)

Hi Janette- I just logged on to ask this question as well. I am 11 days post op Laproscopic Hyster and feel the same way. The first week there was pain but no pressure. Now there's presure and no pain. From all the posts I've read on this it is normal. I'm anxious to hear from HysterSysters that have made it past this stage to see if it's normal or a complication they had. Wishing you a peaceful recovery!!

Re: Vaginal pressure 17 days post hysterectomy (lavh)

It is normal, it is your tissues swelling. I am 20 days post op and i still get it. It tends to be worse when you sit or stand to long. It is very uncomfortable and irrating but I am told that it goes away.
