HELP!! I have a cold!!

I have a sinus cold.....its Monday and my surgery is scheduled for Thursday! I dont want to reschedule. Other than this cold and my need for a hysterectomy I am 100% healthy!! What do I do!!!

If I were you, I would at least let my doc know...I don't think they will reschedule for a cold, but they may want you to take antibiotics. This happened to me(a cold/flu) just prior to back surgery, several years ago, and if I had to guess, I'd say this is also true for hysterectomy or any surgery. But it doesn't hurt to notify your doc, and see what he/she says...better safe than sorry, and you'll have enough to deal with after your surgery, much less any complications that could be prevented. We have all been there, eagerly awaiting getting the surgery over with, so we do understand. This site had saved my butt several times...and for this I am thankful.
