4 days post op and feel awful. Any advice

Eat a little something with your pain medicine. Don't stop the bowel meds yet. This surgery seems to cause constipation for a bit and you don't need to be pushing to use the restroom. I agree about nausea med. ask for phynegran. It makes you sleepy but is good. Sip on coke and eat saltines. Otherwise, just know it will get better. Nausea is prob from the pain med. if the phynegran doesn't help, ask them to give you a different medicine. Hope you feel better soon

You can also call in for a script of Zofran for the nausea.

Ginger is also a good nautral remedy for nausea - you can get capsules at most stroes with vitamins and supplements. Also, B6 and 1/2 a unisom tablet -- worked for morning sickness.

Thanks for the support. I still take a Vicodin at night but only Advil during the day and I have stopped the colace. That makes me sick too!

Have you tried prune juice? Warmed prune juice works quite fast!
