A gas question...

This is one of those "I can only ask my hyster sisters" questions... Is the post-op gas really smelly like too much pork&beans, or mostly air and noise? I don't want to send the nurses or my hubby running out if the room!

Well my DH told me nice that I wasn't too pleasant to be around when they handed over on day 5 post op!

I wasn't too happy to hear that but carried on tooting away regardless :-)

Nobody else seemed to complain except him so may be the rest of my carers were too polite to say!

Just remember that the nurses have probably smelled much worse, and if your DH is anything like mine, paybacks are you know what!

Hmmmmm I have never passed gas in front of my husband .. I always go to the bathroom. I hope I will be able to move fast enough to make it LOL.

I gladly pass gas in front of my kids and feel quite happy if it smells horrible and they complain .. I walk away with a huge smile .. They have put me through so much cra& I am happy to give some in return. LOL.

What do you do if co-workers come and visit :-). I am a manager .. thats all I need is to pass gas in front of all my employees.. I can hear my new nickname already ..

Me being a CNA in the past, I agree with what you say. LOL Some of those old people had the raunchiest toots and urine you could EVER smell. The nurse will not be phased by your toots. If she/he is, she/he is in the wrong line of work. LOL As far as your hubby, yep, my ex would have LOVED that I could toot louder and the fact that they smelled worse them his. LOL Sorry if that was to much info but you all know what I mean. LOL Don't be embarrassed. Let er rip. LOL
