I just wanted to check in with you ladies and see how you are still doing. I'm new to the hrt game (3 weeks) and the pellets may eventually be an option. On the Vivelle patch now.

You are still early post op. The main draw back with the pellets is that if the dosage is not correct you have to live with it. As I recall, you are on a very LOW dose patch. You may need to bump up your dosage.

She had her surgery in 2009. Is she still cobsidered earlt post op?

I have to weigh in that I didn't do well with the pellets. I've heard some women here say that they did great. But I don't think enough women realize that once these pellets are in....they don't come out. If you get too much all at once, as I did, it is a nightmare.

Tasha - I just had my right ovary removed on Oct 11th. I know it's early, I know I need to gradually increase my dose, that is why I said pellets may "eventually" be an option.

I noticed a huge difference with the pellets. A downside is not doing heavy activity for a few days after new implant. But totally worth it for me.
