Adhesions? (children mentioned)

Hello all! It has been a REALLY long time since I have posted, because I have just been so busy. It's good, because I have gotten a promotion at work, however, I am so tired and can't seem to keep my eyes open after 10pm.
I can't complain because people at work have been really good to me, but I have been having some pain just right above my incision to my belly button. I work at a preschool, so I am picking up children constantly during the day. Sometimes the children are infants, and sometimes I'll have to pick up a three year old. I have been having these pains since Friday, and it was a pretty hectic day, so I am wondering if there is a possibility of adhesions. It's just like a dull ache and sometimes cramps periodically. Is this weird? Am I imagining things? Could it be the phantom period (it doesn't feel like it to me)?

Adhesions? (children mentioned)

Hi clmeador,

I'm sorry you're suddenly having these pains. I'm sure that's frustrating to have that pop up at this point in your recovery.

I had my TAH four days before yours and still have days where I'm super-duper tired - I would guess we're not alone in that. I try to listen to my body when that happens and get extra rest. I'd like to encourage you to call your doctor about these pains. Your doctor has insights to your personal health that we wouldn't and would be able to let you know if adhesions were causing this, or if it was some other strain on your body. He or she could really give you the best advice on this, and it might take as little as a quick phone call to find out.

WIll you let us know what you find out?
