Home and Feeling Great

Hi Everyone. Had my surgery TAH/BSO on Thursday morning, discharged Saturday afternoon.

The surgery went great and I am healing. Spoke with the A-woman about problems I had waking up in the past from general and she assured me it would be better this time and it was. I had no problems coming out of the anesthesia and was not in much pain. The hospital staff did a great job keeping the pain under control. It was much better than I expected. The morphine pump was wonderful.

By Friday I was walking the hallways a few times and ready to go home.

I was so scared before this surgery. The waiting was awful, but even the first few days have been better than I expected. I am already so glad I have done this.

I'll write a long report when my mind clears a little more. Still feel very foggy.

Glad everything went well- WOW home in only 2 days.. I thought that just about imposible!! I have same sugery 11/20 I hope mine goes just as smooth.. get plenty of rest and lots and I look forward to another good update soon..
