anyone on Lupron bleeding after surgery ?

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to post since I am having surgery on Friday, April 8.

I am on Lupron... got last shot on March 15. Haven't had a period in 4 months and was wondering if I will be needing pads right after surgery and days after? I've read that some bleed after and some don't. Getting ready to pack today.

Wanted to know if there was a correlation between Lupron (not bleeding) and not needing pads after surgery?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Your surgery is getting close......wishing you all the best for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery..

About the Lupron, I had 3 injections late Dec, late Jan and late Feb....I was starting my period on the fisrt day of my fist injection...went through that period as usual and have not had a period since......my surgery was on March 7 and no I did not bleed at all after surgery, I did wear pads for about the first 2-3 days just in case but nothing.....

Hope this helps, but like you mentioned everyone is different so it might be good idea to have some on hand just in case.

Take Care
Looking forward to seeing you on the other side.

Thanks, Denise.

Looking forward to recovery. I did get some pantyliners today (haven't worn those since teens LOL). Hope I won't need them, but will be wearing them anyway!

Thanks for the well wishes!

Take Care of of yourself!
