Prior c-sections: Novasure or Abdominal Hysterecstomy?

I haven't had a C section, but I have had the Novasure and a TAH. I had the Novasure procedure in January this year and the TAH in on March 22nd this year. I haven't had my pathology report back yet so am not sure why the novasure was such a complete failure but I wish I hadn't done it. I barely stopped bleeding after the procedure and it was heavier than before and oh the pain! It was a nightmare I wish I had just had the TAH in the first place.

Apparently it does work for most people but not if you have endometriosis which they said I didn't have but will see what pathology says my uterus was enlarged so maybe they missed something.

**LovetheSummer** Wow! Our situations are very similar. Was your doctor concerned at all about adhesions (scar tissue) adhering to bladder or bowel?

My doctor and I have not discussed which method I will have yet- I will meet with her a week prior to the surgery date. She has mentioned that c sections can contribute to adenomosis because of the uterine lining getting "sewn" into the muscle wall of the uterus. Wish I could be more help.
