2 weeks Post op hysterectomy Today and......feel really good

I feel really good, I still get tired really easy, and everything but I really feel like a new woman.
They removed EVERYTHING,(Uterus, Cervix, Tubes, and my left ovary) but they left my right ovary because it was still very healthy.

However, I do get more emotional and (intimate) more..but obviously I will not be able to do that until my 6 week checkup if all goes well..

How are you all dealing??

Don't get me wrong ,its not all roses over here... Up until a couple days ago, I felt like I was dying from the pain. Well not dying but the sitting around not being able to do a ton has really gotten me upset quite a few times *{I'm a mover, and a do'er, not a sitter!!)

I miss working out, and playing with my kids and crawling on the floor and taking my dog outside for playtime....and I actually miss being able to sweep and vacuum my floor!

I had my 2wk checkup today. My dr say I healing great and my vaginal cuff is normal and fine. I feel good, some pain still but only take a pill at night. I am still on rest for another week though. She told me also that nothing strenuous for 6 more weeks. She was a little worried when I went to walk my 75 lb malamute and she pulled me thru the yard cause she was a little excited. I had a little pain after that but better now. Glad you are feeling good too. Remember though not to over do it

You sound like me! I have a Siberian Husky who is just anxious for mommy to be and up and running with her again!!! Im glad you are recovering okay!!!!
