pre-op

my surgery is tomorrow
i just registered any advice?

Read as much as you can tonight, and come back once you feel up to it. What surgery are you having? Honestly if you can go in feeling at peace with your surgery, and having a positive attitude about recovery. You should do well
Remember to walk as much as you are comfy with after surgery. With help of course. The gas pains can be ouch!
Stay on top of your pain. Don't be afraid to ask for pain meds if you don't have a pump. If it makes your stomach upset ask for medicine that will get rid of the it. Or have them change your pain meds. Even when you go home take those meds.
Follow your Drs. orders on bending, lifting, vaccuming, sweeping etc..
Make sure you write down your questions that you have to ask before surgery.
Make sure you and your Dr. agree on what is being done.
