Back at work......

Hi Ladies, Well I am back at work and boy do I get tired so easy. I work 12 1/2 hour shifts and by the time my shift ends I am just about kicking my own butt every step I take cause it is dragging so bad. I never dreamed I would get that tired. I went back to work this past Wednesday and they originally had me scheduled to work 5 days in a row and I told them there was *no* way that was going to happen. I did end up working 4 of them though. By the time I got off work Saturday night I was so tired I didn't know which end was up.

I just wanted to warn all the ladies, that haven't returned to work yet, to take it slow and easy at first and *not* to do what I did!!!! It is rough in the beginning and I slept almost all day on Sunday because I was totally exhausted. If I had it to do over again I would *not* have worked 4...12 1/2 hour shifts in a row.

Hi Shanie,

Thank you for the great reminder. It really can be a shock to go back to work. It amazes me how casually the drs and everyone seem to assume we will be ready to resume work at 6 weeks.

I hope you can rest in the evenings and be able to do ok with it all. Keep us posted.
